Description
The 1830 lulav case comes lined in aluminum as standard. At 53.5 by 7.5 inches it takes a full bound lulav with the hadassim and aravos in place, and the lining runs inside the case rather than being an option you have to remember to select.
That matters most in the middle of Yom Tov. By the third or fourth day an unprotected lulav has usually lost its color at the tips and the aravos have started to curl; a lined case slows all of that down, and the set that comes out for hoshanos on the seventh day still looks like the set that went in on the first.
Everything else about it is deliberately simple. One size, one build, no configuration — you order the case and it comes as described. For a household that carries lulavim to shul twice a day for a week and stores them at home in between, a lined case is the least fussy way to keep the four minim in good order from Erev Sukkos through Simchas Torah.
