Lucite Kearah Seder Plate with Silver Accent, Modern

The same modern lucite kearah in a silver accent — clear acrylic body, silver at the detail, nothing raised or ornamented to catch food. Silver is the quieter of the two finishes and the one that sits naturally on a table already carrying a silver becher, leichter and a kos shel Eliyahu, since it does not put a second metal tone in the middle of everything.

Clear lucite does something specific for a Seder plate: the simanim read as the arrangement itself rather than as decoration laid on a decorated dish. Nothing on the plate competes with the zeroa, the beitzah or the maror. The silver line around it defines the edge and stops there.

It is easy to live with, which is not a small consideration for a night that runs late. The surface wipes down, charoses and salt water do not mark it, and it packs away flat once Pesach is over. Families setting up a first Seder usually want something that looks finished without being an heirloom purchase, and this is that plate.
