Description
Silver embroidery on black velvet keeps design 261 understated. The thread work is present across the face but worked in a tone that does not pull the eye, which makes this one of the more restrained bags in the range — a bag for a man who wants it to look right without looking new.
Three sizes are made: the 10.5 by 10 inch bar mitzvah bag, the 14 by 14 large talis bag and the 16 by 16 extra large. Both of the larger sizes hold a full-size tallis; the question is a loose fit against a snug one. Men who fold a tallis carefully and want it to keep its creases usually prefer the closer fit of the 14-inch.
