Description
Design 560 is as plain as this range gets: black velvet, clean seams, no embroidery, no contrast panels, no trim. The whole bag is one material and the construction is the only thing to look at, so the cut of the panels and the evenness of the nap are what you are judging.
It is cut in the bar mitzvah size at 10.5 by 10 inches, the large talis bag at 14 by 14 and the extra large at 16 by 16. A plain bag is what many yeshiva bochurim actually want — nothing to mark them out, nothing to catch on a knapsack zip. It is also what a man buys as a second bag for weekdays while keeping an embroidered one for Shabbos.
Design 560 is made as a bris cover and as a challah cover too, so even the plainest option in the range has matching pieces behind it.
