Description
White crushed velvet against black faux leather makes design 569 the loudest of the unembroidered bags in this series. There is no thread on it, but the contrast between a bright textured panel and a flat dark body is stronger than most embroidered faces manage.
Sizes are 10.5 by 10 inches, 14 by 14 and 16 by 16. The white panel wants a little care, so this is a design better suited to a bag used on Shabbos and Yom Tov than one carried through a yeshiva day. That said, the leather body is the part that takes handling, so it holds up better than an all-white velvet bag would. The bar mitzvah size takes one pair of tefillin.
It is a design that photographs well, which is worth mentioning when a bag is being given at a simcha rather than bought for daily use.
