Description
Design 636 closes out the 600 series by setting white velvet into black faux leather. The leather surrounds and the velvet fills, so the soft bright panel is protected on all sides by the harder material — a sensible way to use white on a bag that still has to be carried.
Sizes run from the bar mitzvah bag at 10.5 by 10 inches through the 14 by 14 large talis bag to the 16 by 16 extra large. The white inset makes this an easy bag to identify as yours, and the leather field keeps it from being fragile. A boy receiving tefillin takes the smallest size; a man buying for a tallis should measure his folded tallis before choosing between 14 and 16 inches.
A siddur cover is made in design 636, which gives you a matching piece to hand over with the bag.
