Black velvet and gold embroidery meet in design 838, a tallis and tefillin bag with the kind of settled pattern that does not date. The gold covers a good part of the front without swallowing the velvet, which is the balance most buyers are looking for when they come in with no particular design in mind.
Sized 10.5 by 10, 14 by 14 or 16 by 16. The first is the bar mitzvah bag and is genuinely proportioned for a boy. The second is the standard large talis bag and will take a folded wool tallis with tefillin.
