Description
The 855 pattern rendered in silver thread on black velvet. The layout is identical to the gold version but the mood is not; silver keeps the design quieter and lets the black velvet stay dominant, which many buyers prefer for a bag they will carry every single morning rather than only on Shabbos.
It is made in bar mitzvah 10.5 by 10, large talis 14 by 14 and extra large 16 by 16. The bar mitzvah bag is genuinely cut for a boy, so do not order it for an adult on the assumption that tefillin alone will do; most men eventually want the tallis in the same bag, and that needs the 14 by 14 at minimum.
A matching challah cover and challah board are made in the 855 design. Ordering the bag together with one of them is the simplest way to give a coordinated gift to a chosson and kallah setting up their first home.
