Malchut works design 865 in gold embroidery across black velvet, filling the panel with a pattern that stays balanced from edge to edge. There is no single small motif carrying the whole design, which is part of why bags in this style still look complete years after they were bought and handled daily.
Three bag sizes cover everything from bar mitzvah through to 16 by 16. The 10.5 by 10 is the boy's size, cut so a smaller tallis and a new pair of tefillin sit together without slack. The 14 by 14 large talis bag is the adult standard. The 16 by 16 extra large is for the man whose tallis folds down thick, or who prefers to slide everything in rather than pack it.
