The 880 number in silver embroidery on black velvet. Silver thread over a dark ground gives this design its definition, and the pattern is drawn cleanly enough that it does not turn muddy at a distance, which is the usual failing of busy silver work.
Malchut cuts the bag at 10.5 by 10 for bar mitzvah and at 14 by 14 or 16 by 16 for a talis bag. The smallest is properly sized for a boy rather than being an adult bag with a different label.
