Tallis & Tefillin Bag in Leather with Fur Trim, Custom #1014

Custom #1014 is a leather bag with fur trim, and the five style options change the character considerably. Black with brown is the plainest. Black with fur, black with black fur and black with black-and-white fur move progressively toward contrast. The fifth, flower-print leather with fur, puts a printed pattern into the leather itself instead of relying on trim for interest.

All five styles are cut in the same three sizes — bar mitzvah 10.5 x 10, large talis bag 14 x 14, and extra large 16 x 16. The size decision follows what is going inside: tefillin alone for a bochur, tallis and tefillin together for a man, and the 16 x 16 when the tallis is full-size wool and you want it going in flat.

Black-and-white fur is the version people notice, which cuts both ways. For a bag that will be carried every morning without comment, black with brown or black with black fur is the safer order.
