Tallis & Tefillin Bag in Leather or Velvet with Fur, Custom #1038

Three constructions under #1038, and each mixes its materials differently. Black leather with two-tone black-and-white fur is the highest contrast. Black velvet with grey fur is the only one that uses velvet as the body, which gives it a softer, more traditional feel. Light grey leather with dark grey fur keeps everything within one colour family and relies on the tonal shift.

The velvet and fur version is worth singling out — velvet under fur behaves differently from leather under fur, and the whole bag reads warmer. All three styles are cut in bar mitzvah 10.5 x 10, large talis bag 14 x 14 and extra large 16 x 16, so the choice of material does not limit the size.

Light grey with dark grey is the quietest of the three and the one that will look least dated in a decade. The black-and-white fur is the one that gets noticed on the first Shabbos and then settles into being normal.
