Tallis & Tefillin Bag, Green and Grey Leather or Black Fur, Design #1295

Green leather is rare on a tallis bag, and that is what makes 1295 worth a look. Paired with grey, the green reads deep and muted rather than bright, and the combination is unlike anything else in Malchut's line. The alternative is entirely conventional by comparison: black leather with black fur, tonal and formal, for a man who likes the design but not the colour. The same body carries both.

Three cuts are made. The bar mitzvah bag at 10.5" x 10" is scaled for a bochur and his first tefillin. The large talis bag at 14" x 14" is the adult standard. The extra large at 16" x 16" is for a full woolen tallis or a man who does not fold tightly. Measure the tallis folded if you are choosing between the two larger sizes.

A matching megillah case is available in this design as well, and on the grey-and-green version in particular it makes sense to order both together, since the colour would be difficult to match afterwards.
