Tallis & Tefillin Bag, White Fur with Black or White Leather, Design #1310

Two ways to run white fur against leather. Black leather with white fur is the high-contrast version, the pale band standing hard against the dark hide and visible across a room. White leather with black-and-white fur inverts the relationship, keeping everything light and letting the fur supply the only dark notes. Both use the same design and the same construction, so it is purely a question of which direction you want the bag to lean.

The cuts are 10.5" x 10" for bar mitzvah, 14" x 14" for a large talis bag, and 16" x 16" for extra large. A bochur will use the smallest for years without outgrowing it. A grown man with a woolen tallis should be looking at the 14" x 14", or the 16" x 16" if the tallis is thick or a siddur travels with it.

White fur is the dressier of the two options and tends to be chosen for a chosson. The white-on-white version is a bolder statement still, and it is not a bag that goes unnoticed.
