#2004 keeps to full embroidery across the front without adding fur, crystals or a contrast inset. What you get is a worked face and clean lines, which is a large part of why it stays in the catalogue year after year while flashier designs come and go.
Three sizes are offered and each has a real job. The 10.5 by 10 bar mitzvah bag is for a bochur; it is proportioned to a smaller tallis and reads correctly on a thirteen-year-old rather than looking oversized on him. The 14 by 14 large talis bag is the default for an adult. The 16 by 16 extra large exists for the tallis that will not fold small, and for men who prefer to slide the tallis in rather than work it in.
If the bag is going to a bar mitzvah, the 10.5 by 10 is usually right at the time, but plenty of families order the 14 by 14 deliberately so it still fits him at twenty.
