Description
Design #2027 is offered clean or trimmed. Clean means black leather with nothing on the face at all. Trimmed means the same bag with a band of black and white fur laid across it. There is no third option and no embroidery in either case, which makes this one of the most restrained designs Malchut puts out.
Three sizes: the 10.5 by 10 bar mitzvah bag, the 14 by 14 large talis bag, and the 16 by 16 extra large. On plain leather the size difference is purely about capacity, so take it straight from the folded tallis with a little room for the tefillin. On the fur version, remember the band adds a small amount of thickness to the front.
The plain version is what a man orders when he wants the quality without the display. It suits an older buyer, a rov, or anyone replacing a bag that has served thirty years and does not want to arrive with something different in character.
