Description
The embroidery on #2060 is detailed without being loud. Worked at a smaller scale than the bolder faces in the range, it gives the bag a texture you notice in the hand before you read it as a pattern. From a distance the front simply looks finished; up close there is real work in it.
It comes in the three standard cuts: bar mitzvah at 10.5 by 10 inches, large talis at 14 by 14, extra large at 16 by 16. Fine detail scales well, so the design does not lose itself on the biggest bag or crowd itself on the smallest.
This is a good design to consider for a man who has asked for something plain and would not thank you for a fur bag. It is finished and it is clearly a good bag, but it does not announce anything from across the beis medrash, which for a lot of buyers is exactly the requirement.
