Description
Black leather with fur, and the fur is either black or white. Black on black is the version that reads as a plain dark bag until you are close enough to see the texture. White fur on black leather is a hard, deliberate contrast and it changes the bag entirely, which is the point of offering both under the one design number.
Both are cut at 10.5 by 10 inches for a bar mitzvah bochur, 14 by 14 for the large talis bag, and 16 by 16 for the extra large. Fur adds slight thickness at the front, so allow for it if the tefillin travel in their own cases inside the bag.
White fur is a striking choice and it needs a bag that is looked after. For a bochur going back and forth to yeshiva in all weather, black on black is the sensible order and it still looks like a serious bag.
