Description
Four quite different faces under one design number. Brown floral leather is the outlier and the most characterful, with the pattern pressed into a warm hide. Black fur is the soft option, covering the face entirely. Black leather and grey leather are the two plain builds, finished with nothing applied at all.
Design #3031 is cut at 10.5 by 10 inches for a bar mitzvah bochur, 14 by 14 for the large talis bag, and 16 by 16 for the extra large. On the plain leather versions capacity follows the dimensions exactly; the fur version takes a small amount of that back at the face.
Grey leather is worth considering for a man who wants a plain bag but has had a black one his whole life. It is the same restraint in a different tone, and it is a small change that makes a bag feel like a new one rather than a replacement of the old.
