Custom Embroidered Tallis & Tefillin Bag in Three Sizes #4033

Made to order and embroidered rather than trimmed, #4033 puts the design work into the stitching on the front panel. Those sizes are not decorative distinctions. Bar mitzvah at 10.5 by 10 inches is scaled to a boy and a set of tefillin. Large talis at 14 by 14 is the adult standard and the one that fits a folded tallis with the tefillin beside it. Extra large at 16 by 16 is a genuinely bigger bag, for a full wool tallis or for a man who keeps a tallis katan and a gartel in the same place.

A word on ordering for a bar mitzvah: if the boy will be wearing a full tallis soon after the chasunah years, the 14 by 14 saves buying twice. If he will not, the smaller bag suits his hands better now.
