Tallis & Tefillin Bag in Flower-Design Leather or Speckled Fur #5009

Four surfaces are offered on #5009 and they are not variations on one idea — they are four different bags. Flower-design leather gives you a pressed floral pattern across the hide. Speckled black and white fur is soft-textured and reads mid-grey from across a room. Plain black leather is the formal option with nothing but embroidery on it. Black and white fur is the boldest of the four, with the pale hairs streaking through the dark panel.

All four are made in the three house sizes. Bar mitzvah at 10.5 by 10 inches is scaled for a boy with tefillin. Large talis at 14 by 14 is the adult standard. Extra large at 16 by 16 gives room for a full wool tallis without compressing anything.

Because the styles differ so much, it helps to decide the character first. Fur if the bag should look substantial, flower-design leather if you want pattern without pile, plain leather if the bag should say nothing at all.
