Description
#V1390 is offered in a single velvet throughout, in either black or grey. Black is the default and the one most men order — it disappears into a dark suit and shows nothing. Grey is the softer, more unusual choice, and it lets the embroidery read more clearly because the thread has a lighter ground to work against.
Sizes are the standard three. The 10.5 x 10 bar mitzvah bag is scaled for a bochur, the 14 x 14 large talis bag for a man with a regular tallis, and the 16 x 16 extra large for a full wool tallis or for a bag doing more than one job. Colour and size are chosen separately, so any combination is possible.
A single-colour velvet bag is the easiest kind to live with — there is no second fabric to wear differently over time and nothing to clash with a bag someone else in the family already owns.
