Velvet Tallis & Tefillin Bag, Custom Embroidered #V3040

This is a fully embroidered custom design, #V3040, worked over Malchut's velvet rather than confined to a border or a centre medallion. On a bag this size that means a lot of thread and a lot of hours, and it shows most in the way the surface holds its shape — an embroidered face stiffens slightly, so the bag stands rather than slumps when you set it down.

Sizing follows the custom velvet range. Bar mitzvah at 10.5" x 10" is the tefillin-only size. Large talis at 14" x 14" is what a man asks for when he wants one bag for both. Extra large at 16" x 16" is the size to choose if your tallis is heavy wool or if you keep a gartel and a spare pair of tzitzis in with everything else.
