Velvet Tallis & Tefillin Bag in Black or Black and Grey #V4034

#V4034 can be taken in solid black velvet or in a black-and-grey velvet combination. The all-black version is the more formal of the two, with the embroidery reading as tone-on-tone until light catches it. The black and grey pairing sets the two velvets against each other so the structure of the design is visible from further away.

Either style is made in three sizes: bar mitzvah at 10.5" x 10", large talis at 14" x 14", and extra large at 16" x 16". The bar mitzvah size is for tefillin alone. The large is the general-purpose bag for tallis and tefillin. The extra large is worth the extra few inches if your tallis is a heavy one, or if you carry a gartel and siddur in with it.

Grey has become a common choice for younger men who want something other than black without going to white, and the two-tone version of this design is a reasonable middle ground for a bar mitzvah bochur.
