Description
Black and white on the luxury scroll tube. The two tones split the body rather than sitting only at the caps, and the effect is sharper and more contemporary than the solid black case in the same 1020 design. Hard-sided, closed at both ends, holding its shape empty or full.
The case is offered at 17.7 inches and at 14 inches. Order to the scroll, not to taste: a standard megillah wants the long body and a shorter one is better held in the 14. Both take the personalized snap-on handle, which clips on and off, so the tube can be handed across a table or set down flat without anything trailing.
A two-tone case is the one that gets noticed, which is why it turns up more often as a gift than as a replacement. If you are buying for someone who already owns a plain black case, this is the version that will not look like a duplicate.
