Description
Black velvet on the luxury 1020 front. The pile gives the panel a depth that flat fabric cannot, and velvet is the traditional material for anything that holds a klaf, which is why this version stays the one many people want even when a leather tube is on the same table. Soft-sided, folding down flat when empty.
Sewn at 18 by 6 inches and 15 by 6 inches. Take the 18 for a full megillah; the 15 is for a shorter scroll and packs smaller. The width matters as much as the length here — six inches has to clear the rollers, so measure a heavy klaf across before ordering rather than by length alone.
1020 is made as a tallis and tefillin bag as well, and matching the two is the simplest way to keep one design running through a man's pieces.
