Design 1350 is the plain one — black leather, no fur, no contrast panel, no worked pattern. It is the least decorated leather tube in the line.

Lengths are 17.7 inches and 14 inches. A full-size klaf takes the larger; the 14 inch is for a shorter scroll or for a boy who wants his own. Both are fitted for the personalized snap-on handle, which clips to the body and comes away when you want the case to lie flat during the reading.

An undecorated case ages well. There is nothing on it to go out of style and nothing applied to catch or lift at the edges, so it looks much the same in twenty years, which is not true of every case that gets carried to shul.
