Description
A charcoal grey cover with a gold border frames this Megillas Esther, and it is the more restrained of the two booklet designs in this family — grown-up on the outside, while the inside is the same colourful printing, with pillars in red, purple, flaxen gold and green appearing every fourth page straight through to the end.
It runs thirty-two pages in paperback at 4.25 by 6.25 inches. Alongside the megillah and its brochos it includes birchas hamazon in both versions, Ashkenaz and Edut HaMizrach, plus Al HaMichya and Sheva Brachos, which means one booklet handles both the reading and the seudah without anyone having to hunt for a bencher afterwards.
The grey and gold is the version to take when the booklets are going to adults — a shul table, a yeshiva seudah, a round of mishloach manos for neighbours. Design 182 is also produced as a challah cover and a tallis and tefillin bag.
