Traditional Wool Tallis with Black or White Stripes, Lined, Sizes 55 to 90

Fine, soft wool yarns and a striped pattern kept deliberately understated. This is the tallis bought by men for whom the tradition of the thing counts for more than any feature on it. Two stripe versions are made: the black-striped model is pure wool throughout, while the white one carries rayon in the pattern, which is what gives white stripes their luster against a white ground.

Lining is included on both. Sizes run 55, 60, 63, 70, 80 and 90, taken by height — 55 under five foot four, 60 through five foot seven, 70 through five foot ten, and the larger numbers from five foot eleven upward. Strings are the thick avodas yad, tied, or bli if the tzitzis are being put on elsewhere.

The size range here is wider than most of the line runs, and the 90 is worth pointing out on its own: a very tall man who has spent years in a tallis that sits short finally has something actually cut for his height.
