Description
A lucite plaque carrying the Asher Yatzar, bordered on design #350 with a black frame around the edge of the panel. The proportions are wide and low — 8.5 inches across by 4.25 high — which is the shape that fits above a sink or on the narrow strip of wall beside a bathroom door where a taller plaque would not go. Black against clear reads sharp and graphic; black against pearl white is softer and closer to a printed page.
The one choice here is the lucite itself. Transparent lets the wall colour come through, so the plaque takes on whatever paint or tile is behind it and stays visually quiet. Pearl white gives you a consistent ivory ground regardless of the wall, which is the safer pick over patterned tile or a dark paint where clear lucite can get hard to read.
Lucite is the right material for this particular bracha: it lives in a wet room, it gets splashed, and it wipes down without the buckling a paper print behind glass would eventually show. One per sink is the usual order, and it is a standard piece to bring to a chanukas habayis.
