Description
Design #351 runs a striped black border around the Asher Yatzar rather than a plain one, which gives the panel more movement — the stripes carry your eye along the width of the plaque and frame the text as a block. Same 8.5 by 4.25 footprint as the rest of the wall plaques in this series, printed on lucite, offered in transparent or pearl white.
Transparent is the one to take if the wall behind it is a plain painted colour you want showing through; the striping then becomes the only strong element on the panel. Pearl white gives the stripes something opaque to sit against and holds up better on tile or against wallpaper. Either way the plaque is light, and it does not need glass over it.
Bathrooms and washing stations are where these end up, and the striped version tends to appeal to people furnishing a newer kitchen or a powder room where the rest of the fixtures are already black. Worth ordering two if you have more than one sink, since the pair looks intentional in a way that one plaque and one bare wall does not.
