Description
Design #107 sits under a clear glass top with nothing raised above the surface — the pattern is fixed on the underside and the serving plane is smooth all the way across. That construction is the whole argument for a glass board: the artwork never wears, never chips at the corners and never needs protecting from the knife.
Sixteen by eleven inches gives real room. Two full challos rest across it with the knife alongside, and there is enough clear border that the cover lies flat over the challos rather than sliding off a crowded edge. After the seudah the board wipes clean in one motion, which matters more on a piece used every Friday night and again Shabbos morning than any single design detail does.
A challah cover is available in the same #107 design. Ordering the two together is the difference between a table that looks put together and one that looks like a board found in one place and a cover found in another.
