Black Leather Tallis & Tefillin Bag, 3D Box Fur Variant (Design #7010LF-53)

#7010LF-53 is the third box fur cut Malchut sets into black leather. The fur is trimmed so the boxes read at a slightly different scale from the -1 and -2 versions, and the leather surround is the same deep black, which keeps the eye on the panel. There is no embroidery on this design; the whole effect comes from the two materials.

You choose the size when you order: 10.5 x 10 for the bar mitzvah bag, 14 x 14 for the large talis bag, 16 x 16 for the extra large. The bar mitzvah size is the one to give a boy who has just started laying tefillin. Men usually go to 14 x 14, and step up to 16 x 16 only when the tallis is heavy enough that the smaller bag would need to be forced shut.

If you already own another bag from the 7010LF group, order to the number rather than by eye — the three fur cuts look close in a photograph and quite different on the table.
