#V2008 holds the V2000 look — embroidery on majestic velvet, with the design worked across the face and the pile showing through where the thread opens up. It is a straightforward member of the group, with no alternate fabrics or thread colours attached to the number, which makes it one of the simpler ones to order.
Three talis bag sizes come from the design. The bar mitzvah cut at 10.5 x 10 is scaled to a boy. The large talis bag at 14 x 14 handles a standard tallis and tefillin together and is what most men end up with. The extra large at 16 x 16 is the answer to a heavy wool tallis that never quite fits anywhere else.
Every bag is worked after the order goes in, so the finish arrives fresh rather than tired.
