Description
#V2042 puts Malchut's finest thread work onto majestic velvet — the two things the custom velvet collection is built on. The embroidery is worked with the fine detail the house is known for, and the velvet beneath it is the deep-pile grade used across the collection rather than a lighter substitute.
The bag is made at 10.5 x 10 for a bar mitzvah, 14 x 14 for a large talis bag and 16 x 16 for the extra large. Think of the middle size as the default: it takes a standard tallis folded with tefillin beside it and suits most men. Go smaller only for a bochur, and larger when the tallis genuinely needs the room.
Velvet of this quality wants a little care. Keep it out of direct sun over a long stretch and the pile will hold its colour.
