Megillah Case, Diamond Scroll Black Leather #1250

A diamond pattern worked into black leather runs the length of this tube. The lattice is in the leather itself rather than printed on it, so it catches light along the ridges and shifts as the case turns — the reason design 1250 looks different in a shul than it does in a photograph. No fur, no trim; the texture is the whole design.

The case is made at 17.7 inches and 14 inches. Standard megillos take the larger, and the 14 inch is for a shorter scroll or for a boy who is going to be carrying his own. Both come with the personalized snap-on handle, which clips on for the walk and comes off when the case is put down.

Design 1250 is also produced as a tallis and tefillin bag. Diamond-worked leather on both is a set a man can carry without either piece looking like an afterthought.
