Megillah Case, Honeycomb Scroll Black Leather #1285

Honeycomb texturing across black leather is what separates 1285 from the plainer leather tubes. The cells are small and repeat tightly over the body, so from a distance the case reads as a matte, worked surface rather than as a pattern, and only up close do you see the structure. It is a case that rewards being handled.

Two lengths are cut, 17.7 inches and 14 inches. Order by the scroll: a full-length klaf will not close into the short case, and a small megillah in the long one has room to shift. The personalized snap-on handle is included and detaches from the body, which matters when the case has to sit on a shtender for the whole reading.
