Description
Design 1860 is a leather megillah tube offered in a large and a medium rather than a large and a small, which tells you something about how it is proportioned — the shorter case is not a child's version but a full case cut for a shorter scroll. Leather over the whole body, undecorated.
Large is 17.7 inches and medium is 14 inches. Both take the personalized snap-on handle, which clips to the body and comes away when you want the case to sit flat. If you are buying for a megillah you have not measured, the large is the safe order, since a shorter scroll travels perfectly well in a longer tube and a long one has nowhere to go in a short case.
1860 is also made as a lulav holder. Leather that matches from Sukkos through to Purim is a small thing, but it is the kind of small thing people notice when a man walks into shul with it.
