Description
White velvet, design 1080, with the embroidery worked to match the rest of the number. It is the roomier of the white shofar bags, and in the medium size it takes a full-length horn without the bell pressing into a corner of the bag.
Two sizes: 13 by 10 inches for a short horn, 16 by 10.5 for a full-size one. White asks for a little more care than black. It should not share a compartment with anything that transfers colour, and over Yom Tov it is better laid flat or hung than crushed at the bottom of a bag under a machzor and a tallis.
The 1080 design is also made as a tallis and tefillin bag, which is the point of ordering by number rather than by appearance: a man already davening with the 1080 bag can add the shofar bag and have the two match exactly rather than approximately.
