Description
This is the navy version of the hard 1850 esrog case, 7.5 by 4 by 3.5 inches of rigid shell around the esrog and its padding. Navy reads a little softer than black without being any less serious, and it is the shade that tends to match the rest of what a man carries to shul on Yom Tov.
The build is the same across the 1850 cases: firm walls that do not compress, and a handle that snaps on for carrying and off for sitting. There is nothing to select — one size, one color on this listing — and the size is set for a full esrog rather than a small one.
Design 1850 is also produced as a megillah case, so the navy can run through both Sukkos and Purim if you want the set. And if navy is not the color, the identical case is made in black, which is worth a look before you decide.
