Machzor Set in Antique Bronze Leather, Oiz VeHudar #1567

Antique bronze leather on the #1567 frame, made up with the Oiz VeHudar machzorim. The #1567 is the fuller, more substantial of the frames in bronze, and the antique finish gives the panels a variation in tone that catches the light differently as the book is turned. It is a set that looks appropriate on a shtender at the amud and equally right sitting on a shelf between Yom Tovim.

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are where these earn their place — full days of davening with the machzor in hand, year after year, which is more handling than most seforim in a house ever see. Leather is what makes that survivable.

The reason to note the design number is that #1567 also runs as siddur covers, haggadah covers, zemiros booklets and Chanukah pieces. Men who use a shtender at home often build it out over a few years so the siddur, the machzorim and the haggadah are in one leather, which is the closest thing this catalog has to a signature.
